Alpaca/Cotton Striped Poncho

This versatile poncho was handloomed by our weavers with a luxurious blend of alpaca and cotton yarns. The alpaca is more difficult for the weavers to get which makes this piece extra-special. We love the texture of this piece and the rich color of the stripes were created by hand-dyeing the yarn with medicinal plants and herbs, grown by Doña Matico, the amazing head weaver of the weaving cooperative in Ecuador.
